WORKSHOP on INTELLIGENT CULTURAL HERITAGE
12 December 2009 – Reggio Emilia

This event, ten years anniversary workshop, follows the series of the  cultural heritage meetings held since the AI*IA 99 Congress. The success of the previous events shows that it is becoming an important  forum for exchanging ideas and promoting an increasingly more active collaboration between the sectors of cultural assets and artificial intelligence. The topics will include: experiences in the use of innovative technologies/methods; methodologies for documenting, managing and communicating cultural heritage and how to take best advantage from the integration  of the results obtained in order to build up new tools. The workshop will provide the opportunity to present, share and discuss the experience of researchers in managing cultural heritage resources.

LOCATION AND DATE

The Workshop will take place in Reggio Emilia (Italy) on December 12, 2009, following the AI*IA 2009: International Conference (9-11 December 2009). The conference and all the workshops will be hosted in the new building of the Department of Social, Cognitive and Quantitative Sciences and of the Faculty of Communication and Economics, located in the centre of Reggio Emilia.
